Once I dreamt there was a kangaroo living on my roof. It was so vivid that I went outside to have a look in the morning.

I don't recall if I had peppers during the previous day.

Fruittrees- (Going off topic with you) In these "City or Town Dreams" are you always at the same place and that is where the familiarity comes from? For years now I have found myself at the same house that is "my house" or the same part of town-none of which I have ever been to. These places are familiar to me in the dream and I have often wondered about them.

I think I could go on and on about the bazaar dreams I have had. Does this come from having a vivid imagination? I really need to study up on the subject.
If anyone has the time to mess around with your sleep schedule. I strongly recommend giving "lucid dreaming" a try.
It's hard to do and takes practice but once you figure out to have one you'll be hooked. Stephen LaBerge has some good books on the subject and created an institute for it. I've never gone but used to call them a lot and was a "member" (whatever that meant) when I was in college.
In regards to Hot Peppers, are they high in B12? They say B12 is good for dream recall.
Well, this would go a long ways to explaining why I have outstanding dream recollection. I take 100mcg B12 daily as a supplemental.

When my daughter was born I had a recurring dream that my Grandma's ghost kept peeking around the door to see her and everyone was yelling at her to go away as it'll frighten Chloe. It was odd to say the least.
I've often had the same dreams after breaking up with girlfriends. Especially when breaking up where there is no communication, etc...

Just my opinion but I think it's a pretty simple matter of them being on your mind.
I've had this happen as well. I had a friend who for no reason whatsoever (that I understand) stopped talking to me. For some reason she just stopped answering my phone calls and stopped calling me one day and I have no idea why... I know she's alright, and it wasn't anything tragic, because I've seen her around on occasion. But anyway, in multiple instances she'll pop into my dreams from time to time and we'll just talk, or hang out, or be involved in some wacky adventure. The dreams are always extremely lucid, and they typically end with her saying, "I gotta go now... he's coming" or "He'll be home soon."

Very strange...

I think this theory is so true. After my grandmother passed away, a couple of months later I had a dream that she was at a family BBQ-she opened the door to come into the backyard and I remember being shocked and happy to see her, so ran up to her and gave her huge a hug, and she told me everything was ok, and to go upstairs and go to sleep. Well, here's the REALLY weird part, a week before I had my dream, my brother had a similar dream that we were at a family BBQ as well, except he was inside of the house and he saw her walk by him in the kitchen and open the door to go outside to the back. That's where his dream ended, with her opening the door from the inside of the house, and mine started with her opening the door, but I was on the outside. So, his dream ended where my dream started. I thought that was pretty cool...:)

I don't dream very often - at least that I can ever recall when I wake up. Maybe 5-6 time a year tops. I do, however, remember being visited each time my wife and I lost a cat. Like they were coming back just to say 'I'm okay and I'm waiting for you...' I don't recall any people, though.
