Not really a theme but I think it is a good Idea.

You start with a tale about Moristown or somthing and when ever you go off on a tangnet you just keep going with it just to see where you end up at the end of the show.

I like it. It might also be nice for Gene and Bryan if they have a busy week and no prep time.
It could go down as the worst hometown tales episode ever, or it could turn out to be the best and most interesting.
